$1 Million Gift Creates Lee Family Scholarship Fund

Leighton Lee II and Marietta F. Lee created a corporate scholarship fund to assist with the education of Lee Company employees' children and spouses. The establishment of this fund builds upon the Lee family's strong belief in the value of education and the Lee Company's longstanding, generous employee tuition reimbursement program.

"The Lee Company wouldn't be what it is today without the hard work of our employees," said Leighton Lee. "This scholarship is a way for us to not just recognize them for their efforts, but to enable their children and spouses to improve themselves and their earning power." Marietta Lee added, "the fund will help those we know and care about."
