The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven welcomes Karen DuBois-Walton as its new president and chief executive officer. DuBois-Walton comes with a longstanding dedication to serving Greater New Haven as the former president of Elm City Communities/Housing Authority of New Haven.

“I am thrilled to be taking on this leadership role at The Community Foundation and for the opportunity to work with so many committed volunteers and donors like the incredible women who have built the Community Fund for Women & Girls over the past nearly 30 years,” DuBois-Walton says. “My vision for the future is one where we work together to create a more equitable and inclusive Greater New Haven. The Fund’s work on behalf of women and girls is completely aligned with The Community Foundation’s vision, and I look forward to supporting the work during this upcoming 30th anniversary year and for many years to come.”
