The Greater New Haven Community Progress Report (2020) shows that the city of New Haven is attracting new residents and providing jobs throughout the region, but racial disparities continue.
Inequality and the COVID-19 Pandemic
The Community Progress Report's aim is to spur and inform work throughout Greater New Haven to expand opportunity to more people. This work has taken on added significance with the onset of the COVID19 pandemic as inequalities risk making the spread of the disease worse and raise the consequences for populations that already suffer from health and economic disparities.
