Network of Foundations Focusing on Social Mobility and Youth Opportunity

Community Foundation Opportunity Network is a national leadership and action network of community foundations committed to narrowing the youth opportunity gap. The 2016 Working Group Report is available here.

Nationally, community foundations are coming together to work on social issues, and we are seeking to increase youth opportunity and accelerate progress in that area.

Community Foundation Opportunity Network (CFON) is led by a Governing Council on which sits Foundation President and CEO Will Ginsberg, and The Foundation's Senior Vice President for Grantmaking and Strategy Christina Ciociola serves on its Leadership Team.

CFON uses the framework developed by the U.S. Partnership for Mobility from Poverty as a way to organize the focus of its work, and aligns with The Foundation's work to create a future of opportunity for Greater New Haven residents.
