A Time of Change

Tuesday was Election Day and, no matter how one might feel about the results, it represents a shared community experience.

It also represents a time of changing leadership. It represents changing priorities in some areas and continuation in others. It offers opportunities for people to collectively define themselves, change priorities, listen to each other, and to build coalitions, collectives and COMMUNITY.

This is work that The Community Foundation is here for. As I settle in during this momentous week, I am energized by the role we can play in continuing to bring people together in Greater New Haven. I believe in the strength of our community. And I look forward to us collectively taking advantage of the opportunities that lie in front of us during this time of change and transition.
