The Board of Directors of The Community Foundation ensures that the organization is effectively fulfilling its mission by making certain that Foundation initiatives, grantmaking, investment and donor stewardship activities all support and advance the institution's mission.

Emily Wang

  • Appointed by the Mayor of the City of New Haven for a term of seven years beginning January 1, 2024

Dr. Emily Wang is a professor in the Yale School of Medicine, director of the SEICHE Center for Health and Justice, director of the Health Justice Lab, and co-founder of the Transitions Clinic Network.
She leads these initiatives with focus on identifying and applying strategies to improve the health of individuals and communities impacted by incarceration.
